JRB BODYTECH TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms form the basis of the trading agreement between James Robert Bowers t/a JRB Bodytech (“JRB”) and the person(s) (“the customer”) commissioning work on their vehicle (“the vehicle”). By paying your deposit you are accepting and agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined herein:
Any changes, alterations or additional work required other than specified in the estimate supplied to the customer by JRB, will be charged at an hourly rate of £40 p/h, plus all parts/materials/consumables required. All additional work will be itemised in the final invoice. You will be notified of any changes prior to additional work commencing.
JRB insists you collect your car within 3 calendar days of receipt of your final invoice unless by prior agreement. Any later than 3 days will result in storage charges being applied at £25 per day until collected. The vehicle will be free to leave the premises once storage charges have been paid in full. JRB is not liable for theft or damage of vehicles or contents left on site after the final invoice has been supplied.
Any works paused at the customer’s request, or for reason’s outside JRB’s control, will incur a weekly storage charge at a rate of £75 per week after 1 week of works being stopped. Work will not resume until storage charges are cleared.
JRB terms of payment are strictly within 3 calendar days of invoicing date. Payments are due prior to vehicle collection.
JRB’s liability is limited to the final value of the contract.
JRB cannot and will not guarantee paint works applied over pre-existing materials or preparations that are not carried out by JRB. Paintworks carried out in such conditions are at the customer’s risk of later imperfections and reactions.
Supplied estimates by JRB are valid for 28 days from date on estimate.
JRB does not accept any responsibility for the way a customer stores or maintains their car that may affect the quality and life of the works completed.
All parts, materials, specialist services and consumables purchased on behalf of the customer will be itemised in the final invoice and must be paid in full before the items/vehicle leaves JRB’s premises.
JRB reserves the right to retain any vehicle until the outstanding balance has been paid in full.
JRB accepts payments by bank transfer or cash. All payments must be cleared on every occasion before the vehicle can be collected or delivered.
JRB reserves the right to use any/all photographs, video, or other digital media of customer’s cars whilst in JRB’s possession for marketing and social media purposes unless specified in writing before the vehicle’s arrival.
